I love your email newsletter. It is one of the few I look forward to.

I was interested in the article about the digital sign, as I was looking at a creating or marketing a similar product for a while. The puzzle was why had no one ever done it before.

So I asked some local cops one day, and they said that it would be considered as illegal additional lights. Checking the traffic code in California where I lived at the time, they were right! And I suspect most other states would also ban them.

It is a shame as it would certainly make driving more interesting.

Just tried SysSense by Mike Singer as a way of monitoring Adsense from the System Tray. Unfortunately it seemed to quadruple my impressions. But my clicks stayed the same so no revenue increase :-( So it got uninstalled.

I tried an arbitrage technique this week, by buying ads on Miva's network (which includes SuperPages apparently). Their interface is a lot less friendly of that of Google's or Yahoo's. I set up an ad, with the keywords but apparently I have to link it with the campaign that I was setting up contemporaneously.

The ad and the keywords have to be approved manually and this is a SLOWWW process.

They insisted on checking to the nth degree on my credit card as well including phone #.

Then, since my ad was not associated with a campaign (which has a daily limit), the money started bleeding. I contacted them and all that they could do was advise me to link my ad with my campaign. Why didn't they just put my account on hold?

They did give me a 50% credit but I was not impressed with the interface or the customer service. The clicks were lousy too, lots of them but no one converted by clicking on my Adsense. I may use the balance on my Miva to try to sell other stuff.

Went to Gay Pride which is 2 blocks from my place. Told those faggots to pipe down. God brought in a thunder storm and washed them all away after he got sick of them taunting him for 7 hours. Serves them right. Tho I did see that the SPPD has at least one gay cop.

I went to the alleged Tax Lien workshop from Foreclosures Daily. The one they dumped Ted Thomas from. Unfortunately they didn't put in any material about tax liens to replace him. A bit disappointing but I didn't complain as I have been freeloading on their seminars for a year.

My friend Barbara asked if she should pay $25 to some service to put her ad on a lot of classified ad sites. My response:

Did anyone see the much puffed Tonight Show with Ann Coutler and George Carlin last week?

It was very missable. Leno is such a lightweight as an interviewer, the audience was stacked with neocons cheering everything that anorexic madwoman uttered, and George Carlin just sat there. He has had a few heart attacks so maybe he was just trying not to get stressed out by taking on that hideous creep.

The only reply on the night was a tightly focused shot on the singer KT Tunstall's guitar. It had a sticker saying "This machine kills fascists".

Theodore Roosevelt was the last good Republican President in my opinion.

It is funny how the GOP has gone from the party of a strong federal government and civil rights to the exact opposite.

Tho they are only for states' rights when it suits them, e.g. medical marijuana and gay marriage are something the states can't be trusted with!

I will be struggling to hit target this month but you gotta have goals.
